It Really Does Need At Least A 3 Hour Movie, The Novel Is Really Long And Detailed. I Don't Think It Can Be Anything Less Than 3 Hours. If It Was My Choice, I'd Have It At, At Least 4 Hours.

I think WB wants it cut down is because IMAX films can't be longer than 2:30, but I would rather have a longer movie than IMAX.

I'd prefer it at 3 hours or more. 2 hours & 45 minutes is OK, but any shorter would weaken the film. I think the longer the better. After all, the LotR trilogy and "Titanic" were all three hours. "Dark Knight" and the 'Harry Potter' films were all 2 & a half hours. So were 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. I think recent film history has proven that people will sit through a long movie if its good, which "Watchmen" promises to be.

Definitely! I'm pretty convinced now that it's be around 2:30 - 2:45, so I'm patiently waiting for that director's cut. I also would like it to be 4 hours, lol.
